February is Heart Month, and AFC/Doctors Express has partnered with the American Heart Association to help raise awareness and collect donations throughout the month. People may visit the center to donate $5 and receive a red wristlet to support ongoing research and education about women and heart disease.
On Friday, Feb. 5, everyone is encouraged to support the fight against heart disease by wearing red.
AFC/Doctors Express is a new, locally owned urgent care center providing medical treatment for injuries and illnesses as a convenient, lower-cost alternative to visiting a hospital emergency room. No appointments are needed and most insurances are accepted.
AFC/Doctors Express is located at 607 Main Avenue in Norwalk, just north of the DMV and across from the Hilton Garden Inn, and is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Information is available at doctorsexpressnorwalk.com, facebook.com/doctorsexpressnorwalk, or 203-845-9100.
